Keogh's Bar and Restaurant had long been a beloved fixture of our charming coastal town. When the previous owners announced their departure, a wave of sadness swept through the community. Keogh's had always been more than just a bar and restaurant - it was a gathering place, a source of comfort, and a highlight for both residents and tourists alike.
It was in this moment that we decided to step in. Our goal was simple: to keep the spirit of Keogh's alive, continuing to provide the simple, delicious and well-prepared food that offers great value for money, which had become the hallmark of this establishment.
At the helm of our kitchen is Nicola, our talented chef. Nicola brings a wealth of experience to Keogh's, having worked in the food industry throughout her career. Her passion for creating delightful culinary experiences was honed during her time at the iconic Dunguaire Castle, where she learned the art of blending traditional Irish cuisine with modern flair.

While Keogh's has always been a bar and restaurant, we've reimagined the space to focus solely on our food offerings. Our dining area can comfortably seat up to 100 guests, making it perfect for everything from intimate dinners to larger gatherings.
We've retained the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Keogh's is known for, while infusing it with our own personal touch. Our menu celebrates local produce and blends traditional Irish dishes with modern family dining, all prepared with care and served with a friendly smile. Check out our menus here.
At Keogh's, we're not just serving meals; we're continuing a legacy. We're honoured to be the current caretakers of Keogh’s Restaurant, and we're committed to ensuring that Keogh's remains a place where memories are made, stories are shared, and everyone leaves with a smile and a full belly.
